Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Trend Hardwood Floor. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning as necessary.
  • Install Flooring: Measure, cut, and install carpeting, underlay, and underpadding on floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintain: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare Tenders and Quotations: Prepare detailed tenders and quotations for clients, including estimates and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, judgement, and organized with excellent communication skills.
