Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
This role is primarily based in an office building setting, where the supervisor will coordinate with a team of light duty cleaners.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning personnel.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Identify and recommend additional services such as repairs, renovations, or equipment replacements as needed.
- Manage financial transactions for specialized cleaning services.
- Assist cleaning staff in executing their duties when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive operations.
Responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 light duty cleaners.
Work Conditions- Tasks may be repetitive and physically demanding.
- Job requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, along with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Financial benefits are provided as per collective agreement.
- This is a permanent position with working hours ranging from 30 to 35 hours per week.
- The primary working language is English.
