About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at Sensible Insurance & Financial Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative assistance to the office team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports, manuals, and other documents as required.
  • Office Management
    • Coordinate and plan office services, including accommodation, equipment, supplies, and maintenance.
    • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of 5-10 office support staff.
  • Communication
    • Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technology
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety
    • Undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
    • Flexibility and reliability.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced office environment with a 40-60 hour workweek.
