About the Role
Maple Lodge Farms, a leading poultry processor in Canada, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Logistics Coordinator - Poultry Operations. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with various departments to drive data collection and analysis, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve logistics and planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes to enhance information accessibility, including the creation and training of access to key information such as drone photos and Google images of farm layouts.
- Manage the standardized data collection and analysis of key indicators to evaluate the benefits of a new fan trailer system within Maple Lodge Farms.
- Support the integration and training of the MTECH software system within Maple Lodge Farms logistics planning.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements for a live bird transport sensor system.
Requirements
- Knowledge in poultry and meat processing is preferred.
- Must be enrolled in a related program in an accredited post-secondary institution.
Working Conditions
- Position is on-site; Work hours: Maximum - 40 hours/week – Day shift Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
