Construction Engineering Lead
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Construction Engineering Lead.

Our client operates within the real estate development, construction, and management sector, focusing on both residential and commercial property projects across North America.

They oversee a varied portfolio of rental properties and engage in real estate investments aimed at achieving sustainable financial returns.

This role involves overseeing engineering design and approvals, managing the tendering process, and ensuring site servicing for both new and ongoing development initiatives, all while adhering to timelines and budget constraints.

# Coordinates and leads the engineering consultant team to deliver innovative community designs, while supervising overall grading, earthwork, and servicing strategies.
# Secures necessary approvals from local authorities, negotiates pertinent agreements, and ensures adherence to company policies, governmental regulations, and health & safety standards.
# Emphasizes cost efficiency and value engineering, manages the tendering process and contract administration, and oversees construction expenses and progress.
# Actively engages in engineering design, supports site operations, fosters strong employee engagement, and champions sustainability in development projects.

Education:
A post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering, Land Use Planning, or a related discipline.
# Experience:
A minimum of five years of engineering experience in residential land development.
# Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project); familiarity with CAD software is advantageous.
# Knowledge:
A solid understanding of engineering design, planning processes, and planning theory related to development.
# Interpersonal and Analytical Skills:
Strong negotiation, mediation, interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, research, and report-writing skills;
