Project Execution Coordinator

In the role of Project Execution Coordinator, you will oversee the site operations related to the haul truck assembly and refurbishment initiative. This includes managing all contractors at the project site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and facilitating the efficient execution of the program's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify leadership in safety by adhering to and promoting environmental and safety regulations.
- Monitor and report on project-related incidents, collaborating with the site EHS team to analyze incidents and derive lessons learned.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive execution plan and timeline for critical tasks impacting asset availability, providing daily updates to program leadership and site stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to project execution, escalating concerns to the Project Lead as necessary.
- Supervise multiple contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work is performed safely and aligns with the project scope and timeline.
- Conduct quality assurance assessments in accordance with the Quality Management Plan.
- Oversee the management of parts, materials, and equipment at the construction site, ensuring compliance with the execution plan.
- Coordinate the scheduling and reporting of contractor activities.
- Assist site personnel with tasks to facilitate effective project execution.
- Perform daily tracking of losses and reporting of barriers to identify gaps and enhance future project planning.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is required; preference will be given to candidates with a trade certificate or relevant degree.
- Proven experience in coordinating contractors and vendors within a large-scale industrial or mining setting.
- Background in heavy industrial maintenance or fabrication environments is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of mobile mining equipment is required.
- Supervisory experience in mechanical or electrical roles, or in project execution, is preferred.
- Experience with mobile mining equipment, particularly haul trucks, is advantageous.
- A Mines Supervisor license is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with project controls, especially scheduling, is beneficial.
- A valid class 5 or equivalent driver's license is mandatory.
