The National Research Council Canada (NRC) is on the lookout for skilled professionals to fill the role of Policy Specialist in Construction Codes. Your Responsibilities

As a Policy Specialist in Construction Codes, you will be an integral part of the Codes Canada division, aiding in the evolution of the national construction codes framework. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with technical authorities, delivering strategic and regulatory insights, and liaising with industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, political science, or building science; relevant experience may be considered.
  • Extensive experience in overseeing intricate technical projects.
  • Proven track record in providing strategic counsel on complex policy matters to senior leadership.
  • Experience in supporting high-level committees and collaborative groups.
  • Familiarity with construction codes or standards is advantageous.
