Pharmacy Department Assistant Manager

At London Drugs, we're seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities:- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure our pharmacies meet all provincial pharmacy regulatory body standards and legislative requirements.
- Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of professionalism, good business practices, and a strong work ethic among team members.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize pharmacy operations to maximize staff productivity, staff training, team building, and payroll usage.
- Resource Planning: Develop and implement resource plans that address manpower needs, staff performance standards, training, and development plans.
- Communication and Execution: Ensure all company directives, policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives are well communicated and executed.
- Inventory Control: Implement measures to ensure good inventory control and minimize waste.
- Business Growth: Develop strategies to build the pharmacy business, increase sales, and improve profit margins.
This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll work effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
Requirements:- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with 2-3 years of pharmacy experience.
- Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory skills and ability to motivate team members.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-Motivation: High level of self-motivation and resourcefulness.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and diligence.
- Business Acumen: Good business sense and ability to analyze data.
