Learning Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Instructor Aide. In this role, you will provide academic support to students in the classroom and throughout the building, working closely with accessibility services and program instructors to identify and address student learning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students in the classroom and throughout the building
- Take direction from accessibility services and program instructors to identify and address student learning needs
- Utilize appropriate learning resources
- Attend training sessions and progress meetings as required
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain a positive learning environment
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant experience in the field of study
- Ability to work with individuals with special learning needs
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of technology, including the internet, email, and MS Office Suite software
