Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Instructor Aide at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. In this role, you will provide essential support to students in the classroom and throughout the building, working closely with accessibility services and program instructors to identify and address student learning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students in the classroom and provide individualized support as needed.
- Collaborate with accessibility services and program instructors to develop and implement strategies to support students with special learning needs.
- Utilize learning resources and technology to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Attend training sessions and progress meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and student needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and support provided.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in the field of study.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with special learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and foster a positive learning environment.
- Competence in the use of technology, including the internet, email, and MS Office Suite software.
