Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team at Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Sr Elementary. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals in providing a safe and engaging environment for children before and after school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of childcare professionals in providing high-quality care and supervision to children before and after school.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs and activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful program.
  • Collaborate with the school administration to ensure alignment with school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in the child care field.
  • Knowledge of recreational programming and ability to develop engaging activities for children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent.

Assets:

  • Possession of a valid First Aid/CPR Certification is considered an asset.
