Job Title: Network Analyst - Cisco/Fortinet

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst - Cisco/Fortinet to join our team. As a key member of our Data Centre Network Services team, you will be responsible for supporting and deploying new technologies, following best practices, and consulting and coordinating with our technology teams to provide a highly resilient network as the underlying core of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deploy new technologies, following best practices, and consulting and coordinating with our technology teams.
  • Responsible for level 3 support and project deployments, both on premise Data Centres and the Cloud, to support the digital transformation of our global network.
  • Integration of applications.
  • Reporting to a Senior Manager, Data Centre Network Services, you will play a critical part in helping the team support the various technologies within our Global Network.
  • Participate in rotational on call duties and, when required, be part of after-hours project deployments in the evenings or weekends.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience in supporting, deploying and interconnecting various network technologies at an enterprise scale.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience with various Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Infoblox at an enterprise level capacity.
  • Cisco Routing and Switching.
  • Nexus N9K/N7K/N5K/N2K Solutions.
  • Cisco ISR/ACI and ASR Routers.
  • Catalyst N9K.
  • Cisco Security/VPN.
  • ASA/FTD Firewalls.
  • Cisco FMC.
  • Fortinet.
  • FortiGate Firewalls.
  • Forti Manager/Collector/Analyzer.
  • F5 LTM/GTM.
  • Infoblox DNS/DHCP and IPAM.
  • Superior problem solving, decision-making and troubleshooting skills to resolve work issues with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) and good interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Networking Technology or related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Scripting language experience, Python preferred.
  • Cisco certification is a plus.
