We are the leading provider of software and fulfillment services for wineries, empowering them to succeed in the dynamic and profitable direct-to-consumer (DTC) market.

With a strong focus on innovation and client satisfaction, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Software Engineering team as a Cloud Platforms Principal in our Vancouver, BC office.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing our next-generation All-new WineDirect platform, a cutting-edge solution for omni-channel sales, marketing, loyalty, analytics, and subscription automation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop technically sound, secure, scalable, and performant software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet client technical needs
  • Lead the development of comprehensive full-stack architecture
  • Implement Open Telemetry and performance monitoring
  • Deliver across the entire software app development lifecycle
  • Architect OLTP to OLAP data models for efficient multi-tenant reporting
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of software developer experience in distributed systems or cloud-based solutions
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go, Java, C++, React JS, or NodeJS
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, event streaming, and Data Warehouse and/or Data Lakes
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent experience
