Accounting Supervisor

Sergio Ruivo is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and providing technical guidance to team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Transactions: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of 3-4 bookkeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
This is a permanent full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English or French. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
