Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Supervisor to join our team at Penticton Regional Hospital. As a key member of our support services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of designated staff, providing feedback and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Dietician to plan menus and develop recipes that meet the nutritional and therapeutic needs of our patients.
  • Estimate food requirements, order supplies, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Monitor expenditures and make recommendations for budget allocations.
  • Evaluate meal quality and quantity to ensure established standards are met.
  • Coordinate meal preparation, pricing, and other related duties for community-based services.
  • Assist in maintaining facility in-house services, including cafeteria operations.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with food service and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma from a recognized two-year Food Service/Nutrition Management program.
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a similar role.
  • Availability to work rotating days and evenings, including weekends and statutory holidays.
