About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at New Era Janitorial Services Inc. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our clients.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our clients as needed.
  • Stock Management: Stock linen closets and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
  • Fixture and Appliance Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Disinfection and Sanitizing: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Elevator Cleaning: Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to our clients.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Trash and Debris Removal: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Personal Hygiene Assistance: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene as needed.
  • Laundering and Cleaning: Launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Changing Room and Shower Cleaning: Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
