About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at SK Power Drive Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic and transmission systems, engines, and running gears.
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure the efficient operation of our maintenance shop.
  • Change engine oil and lubricate moving parts of heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Grease and lubricate equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent damage.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (over 45 kg/100 lbs).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
