About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 food service counter attendants and food preparers
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Skills
    • Efficient interpersonal skills
    • Excellent oral communication skills
    • Team player
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
