Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at SUPER CUT LUMBER INDUSTRIES LTD. as an Industrial Electrical Technician. As an Electrical Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and Maintenance: Conduct regular tests on electrical and electronic equipment and components to ensure they are functioning within specified parameters.
  • Repair and Installation: Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations of switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Electrical Motor and Generator Maintenance: Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
  • Code Interpretation: Interpret electrical code specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Drawings and Specifications: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair or equivalent experience.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
