Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Definity. As a key member of our HR team, you will partner with our Technology Solutions team to drive business outcomes and support the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Technology Solutions leaders to implement and roll out HR programs that drive business results.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the team's goals and objectives.
  • Provide HR consulting services to employees and leaders on HR programs, practices, policies, and legislation.
  • Guide and influence decisions on talent management, including succession planning, candidate assessment, and identification of enterprise-wide talent.
  • Provide coaching to leaders on performance management, structural and staffing issues, including compensation, organization design, employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with other HR functions to provide business context for the design, development, and implementation of HR programs.
  • Interpret and analyze management information and data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • University degree or College diploma.
  • CHRL designation or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of progressively responsible and related experience in Human Resources.
  • Prior experience working with high-performing Information Technology teams.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry is an asset.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of business strategy and financial acumen.
  • Strong project management skills and effective execution skills.
