About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Financial Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team at Compunnel Software Group, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating with our modeling team and data management team to address and work on special projects to improve our systems.
  2. Developing and implementing new systems, including proof of concept to confirm the feasibility of replacing existing systems.
  3. Working closely with our chief architect to ensure the successful implementation of our financial risk management systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Strong technical skills, including mathematics, computer science, and engineering.
  2. A passion for working in the financial industry with a basic understanding of actuarial principles and insurance concepts.
  3. Fluency in Python, with the ability to write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, actuarial experience and/or knowledge would be a significant advantage in this role.
