About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at HTL Dental. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
    • Prepare plaster models and moulds, utilizing your technical expertise to create accurate and precise replicas.
  • Supply Management
    • Order dental and office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked inventory to ensure seamless operations.
    • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Patient Education and Support
    • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene, providing personalized guidance and recommendations.
    • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Record dental procedures performed on patients, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Invoice patients for dental services, handling financial transactions with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Certification
    • Healing arts radiation protection (HARP) Certification, demonstrating your commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Proficiency in plastering, packing, waxing-up, polishing, and assembly, showcasing your technical skills and adaptability.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word, highlighting your ability to navigate and utilize various software applications.
  • Area of Specialization
    • Experience in full dentures, partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, crowns and bridges, and ceramic or porcelain application, demonstrating your expertise in various dental procedures.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
