Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Core Drywall Ltd. as a Drywall Insulation Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality insulation installation in our drywall projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selecting the Appropriate Insulation Type

You will be responsible for selecting the correct type of insulation required for each project, taking into account factors such as climate, building design, and local building codes.

Measuring and Cutting Insulation Materials

You will measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools, ensuring accuracy and precision in every cut.

Applying and Securing Insulation

You will apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods, ensuring a tight and secure fit.

Fitting Insulation Around Obstructions

You will fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs, ensuring a seamless and efficient installation process.

Installing Vapour Barriers and Fire-Retardant Materials

You will install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Work Environment and Hours

You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a regular 35-hour workweek. You will be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
