About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC. As an Insulation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the energy efficiency and comfort of our clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and Cut Insulation Materials: Use hand and power tools to measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions.
  • Install Insulation: Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs, ensuring a tight seal to prevent air leaks.
  • Vapour Barrier Installation: Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials to protect against moisture and fire hazards.
  • Surface Preparation: Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Asbestos Removal: Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings, following strict safety protocols.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, as you will be standing for extended periods and performing manual labour.
  • Work Conditions: You will work in a variety of environments, including residential homes and commercial buildings.
