Job Title: Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing professional services to clients requiring physiotherapy intervention. This includes assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients in accordance with professional standards.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of clients to establish and ongoing evaluation and revision of treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans.
  • Maintain current and accurate clinical records according to standards set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team as needed.
  • Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provide education regarding treatment strategies as needed.
  • Observe the performance of those assisting in the physiotherapy program and provide guidance as necessary.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintain active standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities.
  • Adhere to Bayshore Therapy & Rehab Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
  • Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Preference of three years providing Physiotherapy services.
  • Experience with in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and the legal system is an asset particularly medical/legal report writing.
