Job Summary
The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Advisor. As a key member of our Wealth Management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our clients and Investment Advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage your exceptional communication skills to facilitate meetings and events for Investment Advisors with clients and prospects, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up.
- Utilize your problem-solving skills to provide proactive client service, collaborating with various departments to deliver timely and effective solutions.
- Effectively respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Contribute to business planning, client segmentation, and client service initiatives, driving growth and revenue.
- Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.
- Support the advisory team with new client acquisition, leveraging your knowledge of the business and client needs.
- Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners, driving business growth and revenue.
- Provide trading and portfolio rebalancing support, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, providing regular updates to the advisory team and clients.
- Support both the advisory team and clients throughout the Wealth Management process, coordinating activities with internal specialists and managing documentation.
Requirements
- Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
- Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT)
- University degree
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Highly developed client service skills

Base Salary Range
The expected base salary range for this position is $38,000 - $55,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions, and business needs.
Discretionary Bonus Program
