Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Supervisor at Boston Pizza involves overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all culinary tasks are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The position is set in a fast-paced and dynamic food service establishment, where noise levels can be high due to the bustling kitchen atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that all food and service adhere to quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports as required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct oversight of food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout shifts.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods and walk as needed.

Experience Requirements
