About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Facilitate and manage the process of identifying, prioritizing, chartering, communicating, and managing key projects, and also defining what success looks like for each of these projects.
  • Business Management System: Establish and maintain a business management system, including the management of staff agendas and meetings.
  • Performance Tracking: Track key strategic actions, drive them to closure, and manage the process of tracking and communicating performance against objectives; continuously assess how we are executing to our strategic plan and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key interface for external groups (i.e., customers and partners) as well as internal business groups.
  • Financial Collaboration: Work with Finance and Operations to clearly understand the P&L, collaborate with the extended ISG and ISO leadership team to operationalize plans to achieve the financial targets.
  • Executive Support: Support the SVP in their day-to-day activities (presentations to customers, executives, and other external audiences, preparation for critical meetings and business reviews).
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced Sales environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of information, drawing conclusions from multiple sources. Ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions, along with a willingness to challenge when necessary. Keen emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organization. Strong understanding of varying Lenovo Business Groups (ISG, IDG, SSG) with an ability to navigate Lenovo while building great work relationships through collaboration, spanning product, sales, marketing, finance, etc. Excellent communication skills. Leadership skills with the ability to inspire others to achieve a common objective. Keen business acumen - understand our strategy and govern the strategic planning. Superior organizational skills and project/time management abilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time. Entrepreneurial and creative mindset, with the ability to formulate solutions to problems and strong process orientation and mindset. Ability to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism.
