About the Role

As an Internal Accounts Director at EMCO Corporation, you will be responsible for interacting with clients to provide exceptional customer service, drive sales, and exceed revenue and profit targets. You will be the key point of contact for our internal accounts, ensuring their needs are met and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow internal accounts, converting leads into sales and increasing revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Utilize exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and loyalty with clients.
  • Act as a project manager for large projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our internal accounts and increasing revenue.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and profit targets for the internal accounts team.
  • Provide support to the sales team during peak periods, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Investigate and resolve client complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding client orders and product availability.
  • Monitor and follow up on client submissions and orders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the success of the internal accounts team.
  • Communicate with the Director of the internal accounts team and the credit department regarding any changes in client business that may impact credit risk.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in a related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service or internal sales – experience as an entrepreneur is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prospect new clients and increase sales with existing clients.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling the development of excellent working relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to determine client needs, offer cost-effective solutions, and close sales.
  • Ability to learn and use the applicable software system for processing orders.
  • Moderate math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience or knowledge of plumbing and construction products sold at the Centre of profits.
  • Experience with Trend and Eclipse.
