Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our client’s team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers flexibility with two days of remote work each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive reconciliations of general ledger accounts and prepare financial analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, providing insights into variances.
  2. Address inquiries from management and operational teams regarding the analyses generated and the internal financial reports.
  3. Examine inventory adjustments to understand their implications, identify discrepancies, and make necessary adjustment entries while ensuring proper follow-up.
  4. Assist in the preparation of documentation for external auditors.
  5. Generate, verify, and record necessary adjusting entries in the general ledger.
  6. Account for, verify, and analyze specific incurred expenses while ensuring adherence to internal control measures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or JDE.
  • Possess strong business and operational insight.
  • Exhibit a methodical and analytical approach to tasks.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Maintain a solution-oriented mindset.
