Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our truck fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the activities of 5-10 team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate production and other reports to track the performance of the team and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and Develop: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and Operate: Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels to ensure the safe movement of goods.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals: Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Requisition Materials: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support the team's activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organized, team player, and proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
