Critical Care Nursing Resource Team Member

About the Role
Michael Garron Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Nursing Resource Team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of environments within the hospital, including the Emergency Department, Cardiac Care Unit, and Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team to implement plans of care
- Participate in unit quality initiatives and measurements
- Develop and maintain competence in critical care nursing practices
- Contribute to a transparent culture of patient and staff safety
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Registration issued by the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Recent experience and evidence of recent related continuing education in medical-surgical nursing
- Training or education in Critical Care an asset
- Current BLS required
- ACLS an asset
- CNA certification an asset
Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience in an acute medical or surgical care unit
- Demonstrated ability to care for patients with basic care needs
- Must be willing to participate in critical care related training
- Demonstrated motivation to pursue educational goals
