Business Growth Specialist, Northern Alberta, OTR

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is pivotal in enhancing revenue channels by identifying new prospects, conducting lead research, and fostering connections with potential clients across Northwestern Alberta. The position involves presenting service offerings to prospective clients, including senior executives of regional businesses, and delivering expert advice to stakeholders.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Target regional clientele to generate new business opportunities
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure new business
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively to achieve sales objectives
  • Partner with stakeholders to synchronize market strategies
  • Leverage reports and presentations to establish a competitive edge as a preferred supplier
Reporting/Metrics
  • Maintain client data within the CRM system
  • Document and monitor metrics related to sales initiatives
  • Analyze sales performance data to guide portfolio strategies
Professional Development/Networking
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and representative for clients and partners
  • Stay informed about products and service offerings
  • Develop business insight for each client portfolio
WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 1-5 years of experience in business development
  • Experience in heavy construction equipment
  • Background in the tire industry is advantageous
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of products and services
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Valid driver's license required
