Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cable Splicer to join our team at Tribute Electric Ltd.. This role involves the installation and maintenance of electrical distribution and transmission systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a related field
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including both overhead and underground settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical distribution and transmission systems.
  • Splice, solder, and insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power networks.
  • Conduct inspections of overhead and underground power lines and cables.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Utilize ladders or hydraulic buckets for work on poles and towers.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate work assignments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors.
