Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, providing exceptional customer experiences, and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to clients on eyewear choices, ensuring they receive the best value and quality.
- Inform patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assist with frame selection to meet their aesthetic and performance needs.
- Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyewear.
- Submit prescription eyewear requisitions to manufacturing labs and perform repairs and adjustments to patients' eyewear.
- Arrange and maintain retail display areas and contribute to store retail sales goals.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards, using charisma and problem-solving skills to meet the needs of our patients.
Requirements
- Previous customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Experience in the optical world or knowledge of routine eye care is beneficial but not essential.
- Professional and approachable manner, with a love of meeting and interacting with people.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and have a high level of comfort using technology and computers.
- Committed to excelling as a member of a high-performing team.
