Job Title: Long-Term Substitute French Immersion Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced French Immersion Teacher to fill a Long-Term Substitute position at Durham Catholic District School Board.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French Immersion students in a Grade 1 classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language and culture, as well as experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach French Immersion students in a Grade 1 classroom
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Teaching Certificate
  • Strong background in French language and culture
  • Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
