Job Title: LTO Grade 1/2 French Immersion Teacher

We are seeking a qualified LTO Grade 1/2 French Immersion Teacher to join our team at St. Kateri Tekakwitha CS.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French Immersion students in grades 1 and 2, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French Immersion students in grades 1 and 2, following the Ontario curriculum and board policies.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success.
Requirements:
  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers.
  • Primary Basic Qualifications, including French as a Second Language Part 1 Required, with native-like fluency.
