About the Role

VSG Landscaping and Renovation is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a fabrication specialist role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication
    • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate and efficient welding operations
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal components
    • Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment with a focus on quality and safety
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding and fabrication, or equivalent experience
  • Work Site Environment
    • Work outdoors in a dusty and noisy environment
  • Work Setting
    • Willing to relocate for the right opportunity
    • Industrial setting with a focus on quality and safety
