We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Financial Planning Software Solutions Consultant to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Family Office Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial planners, investment advisors, and other stakeholders across Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial advice and planning solutions to clients, utilizing our proprietary financial planning software and tools.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Wealth Management and RBC Personal & Commercial Banking, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Develop and maintain expertise in Conquest Planning, myGPS, and Wealth Planning Calculators, serving as a technical expert for these tools.
- Support the development and implementation of financial planning tools, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing of new or updated tools, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Provide coaching and training to users, either directly or through job aids and other resources, to ensure they have the necessary skills to utilize our financial planning tools effectively.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including job aids, user guides, and other resources, to support the use of our financial planning tools.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and working groups, contributing to the development and implementation of new initiatives and solutions.
- Bilingual (French/English) proficiency, both spoken and written.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as Finance or Wealth Management.
- Professional designations, such as CFP, IQPF, QAFP, FPI, CLU, RRC, or PFP.
- Knowledge of financial planning software, preferably Conquest.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial planning/wealth management industry.
- Knowledge of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and solve complex problems.
- Able to manage and prioritize workload, with competing deadlines.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
