About the Role

Patrimonica, a leading multi-family office in Montreal, seeks an experienced Investment Director to lead its private markets investment research and due diligence efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in private markets, including private equity, real assets, and credit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer to develop and implement the private markets investment strategy
  • Conduct thorough research and due diligence on potential investment managers and strategies, with a focus on private markets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investment managers, industry experts, and other stakeholders
  • Provide investment recommendations to the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Committee
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing private markets investments
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with private markets investments
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in investment research and due diligence, with a focus on private markets
  • CFA charterholder
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of private markets investment strategies and instruments
