The Role: Senior Director, Private Investments

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our private investments strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and monitoring alternative investment managers across various asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer to define manager research priorities, encompassing both preferred strategies and suitable managers.
  • Lead the identification of promising new managers within the vast investment landscape, presenting comprehensive recommendations to the Chief Investment Officer and the Investment Committee.
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on shortlisted managers, analyzing their business operations, investment strategy, risk management framework, and portfolio construction methodologies.
  • Continuously monitor existing manager portfolios and industry benchmarks, ensuring meticulous documentation is maintained.
  • Proactively recommend adjustments or terminations to the current manager lineup based on performance and market conditions.
  • Support the seamless execution of transactions (subscriptions and redemptions) in private market funds by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including the Chief Investment Officer, Director of Operations, and Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Engage actively in client meetings, providing timely updates on existing investments and potential opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external managers and industry partners.
