About the Role

Foyer Bois Joli inc. is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Medical Support: Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms, including making beds, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
  • Transportation: Safely transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Communication: Answer call signals and respond to patients' needs in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Specimen Collection: Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, following established protocols.
  • First Aid: Administer basic first aid in emergency situations, ensuring patients receive prompt and effective care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
