We are looking for a Senior BIM Expert to enhance our capabilities in North America. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, engaging with clients on significant infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you will also serve as a Lead Specialist, providing advanced technical management to the BIM team. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and executing strategic initiatives to elevate our BIM and CADD practices.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Conducting project activities that require comprehensive knowledge of BIM; Establishing and applying design best practices in your areas of expertise, including creating Action Plans as directed by the Head of Discipline; Cultivating technical talent through the development of specialized training programs, identifying candidates for advanced training, and mentoring key personnel; Leading CADD/BIM project teams and managing resources to achieve profitability and project goals; Overseeing multidisciplinary spatial coordination for bridge, tunnel, and marine infrastructure projects in 3D, ensuring alignment with structural, architectural, MEP, and civil elements; Collaborating with the COWI North America digital steering committee to meet digital transformation objectives; Initiating BIM kickoff meetings and formulating BIM execution strategies at the start of projects; Conducting BIM training sessions for team members.

Additionally, you will need to possess:

A diploma in CAD/BIM technology from an accredited institution, along with over 15 years of relevant engineering or drafting experience; At least five years of experience in BIM management and coordination within large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects; Proficiency in modeling processes across various BIM design applications and their interoperability; Strong skills in multiple drafting and design tools, including but not limited to Civil3D, Revit, Tekla, Dynamo, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, and MicroStation; A keen eye for detail in complex bridge components, with experience in steel detailing, concrete, and reinforcement; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; The ability to contribute to proposal development; Experience in assigning tasks, coaching, mentoring, and supervising CADD/BIM technicians at all levels; A self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
