Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our team at the Upper Canada District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Senior Science - Physics to students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Senior Science - Physics to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and online platforms.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements
  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing.
  • Qualifications in Senior Science - Physics.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
