Qualifications- Education: No formal education required.
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.
- Dusty conditions may be present.
- On-site customer service is a key component of the role.
- Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces designated for coverage.
- Measure, cut, and secure underlay and underpadding.
- Develop flooring plans and manage scheduling.
- Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings.
- Prepare and install hardwood flooring.
- Inspect and repair any damaged floor coverings.
- Prepare surfaces for installation.
- Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Personal transportation is required.
- This position is physically demanding.
- Ability to handle heavy loads is essential.
- Tasks may involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Must be able to distinguish between different colors.
- Are you legally authorized to work in Canada?
- Do you have prior experience in flooring installation?
- Work Term: Permanent
