About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at 1649362 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our apartment/condominium complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate the maintenance of our facilities, including the operation of industrial vacuum cleaners, emptying trash cans, and performing minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition, including industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers.
  • Worksite Safety: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure a safe working environment for our staff and residents.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of maintenance staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Liaise with contractors and tradespeople to arrange for repairs and maintenance of our facilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Work Setting: Willingness to relocate to our apartment/condominium complex.
