Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in implementing strategic EHS programs across our operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to maintain a safe work environment
  • Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate compliance with EHS regulations and corporate standards
  • Collaborate with site teams to define and implement EHS action plans, ensuring accuracy and integrity of EHS data and information reporting
  • Manage and consolidate EHS indicators, filling out company EHS databases and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Support leaders during accident investigations, including root cause analysis, trending analysis, resolution, and documentation
  • Develop and deploy EHS documentation, including creation, control, communication, compliance, and maintenance
Requirements
  • College/University Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a professional EHS in an industrial environment or a suitable combination of education and experience in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and experience in environmental footprint reductions projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ease in communicating at all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical skills, with high power of observation and attention to detail
  • Work organization abilities and strong team spirit
  • Able to travel (10-20% of time)
  • English written and spoken mandatory, French is an asset
