Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HSE team to ensure effective implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive HSE management system to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with operations to identify and determine HSE regional objectives and goals.
  • Establish a process to monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of the HSE management system.
  • Ensure effective and relevant HSE communication to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the training program to ensure competency and awareness.
  • Leadership engagement to influence commitment from all management to comply with all HSE requirements.
  • Partner with operations on HSE messaging and communications strategy.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on HSE submitted documents to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Attend all HSE applicable meetings.
  • Support operations and Senior Leadership in managing risk by analyzing and interpreting data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment Science, or similar related work experience.
  • Proven track record of being a leader/manager of HSE teams or programs.
  • Ability to oversee HSE programs and initiatives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry-specific safety regulations and standards.
  • Experience with safety audits, inspections, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in HSE management software.
  • Experience developing and delivering HSE training programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and leadership capabilities with high ethical standards.
