About the Role

Casa Uma is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies to promote our brand and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute public relations campaigns to increase brand awareness and reputation
  • Oversee the preparation of public written materials, including press releases, media kits, and other communications materials
  • Produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials to engage our audience
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting new businesses, and act as a spokesperson for our organization
  • Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes
  • Train staff and assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other materials
  • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions, and conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • Gather, research, and prepare communications material, and initiate and maintain contact with the media
  • Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia, and write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week
  • Language of work: English
