Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team at Wachsman. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day account work for clients, supporting the execution of Public Relations campaigns, and providing administrative support to senior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Public Relations campaigns, including media relations, content creation, and social media management.
  • Support senior staff members with daily internal and external communications, including drafting press materials, pitches, and reports.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities for story ideas and angles, and contribute to the development of content for social media campaigns.
  • Provide administrative support to senior staff members, including scheduling, preparing for client calls, and creating agendas and reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-2 years of internship or relevant experience in Public Relations or communications; agency environment strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Driven, detail-oriented, and extremely organized.
  • Motivated to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in the emerging technology/crypto/blockchain/Web3 industry.
